
Bright Dairy-Free Basil Pesto Sauce
Lively green pesto with fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic and lemon, plus nutritional yeast for a cheesy note—perfect for pastas, bowls, or spreading.

Instructions
Step 1: Pulse the base
In a food processor, add the basil, pine nuts, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Pulse in short bursts until finely chopped.
Step 2: Stream in the oil
With the machine running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the pesto is smooth or your desired texture. Scrape the bowl and pulse again.
Step 3: Taste and store
Taste and adjust salt or lemon to preference. Use right away, or refrigerate in an airtight jar with a thin layer of oil on top.
